Festival regulations

1. Time and place of the Festival
   
   Civilization and Media Art Festival Art MEDIATRAVEL - Łódź 2010 will take place between the 20 th and 25 th of April 2010 in Łódź.
   
   
   
2. Aims of the Festival
   
   • of Polish and world’s output in the field of film, photography, radio programmes, internet, music and magazines connected with travel and exploration ;
   • supporting and popularization of production dealing with travel and exploration
   • exchange of the artistic experience;

5. Applications
   
   • film: length up to 60 minutes, application cassette – DVD, MiniDv, SVHS and VHS in PAL system.
   • photography: black & white or colour, photos size – 21cm x 30cm or 30cm x 40cm, the maximal number of photos sent – 10 items
   • internet sites ( pages ): created in generally available format for PC computer
   • music recordings: recorded on analogue magnetic tape, mini disc or CD
   • radio programs: recorded on analogue magnetic tape, mini disc or CD.
   • press reportage : text length up to 4 pages ( typed ), A4 size .
   
   Applications will be accepted only on the special forms available in the Festival office – FESTIVAL ART MEDIATRAVEL, address : 91- 001 Łódż, al. Włókniarzy 204, POLAND or in the internet : www.mediatravel.pl.
   
   Application is valid on condition that the special application form part A and B is filled, signed and sent to the Festival office address.
   
   The applicants send their works at their own cost. The works will be sent back to the applicants after the Festival.
   
   Each applicant must pay the accreditation fee at 150 zlotys and send it as a postal money order to: FESTIVAL ART MEDIATRAVEL, 91- 001 Łódż, al. Włókniarzy 204, POLAND.
   
   
   
6. Festival Jury
   
   Organization Committee of the Festival names:
   • Commission of selection, which is to accept the applications and works sent to the Festival in the specific categories. Its decisions are definitive.
   • Professional Jury of the Festival. Its decisions are definitive.
   
   
7. The awards
   
   There is one main award – Grand Prix, and the gold, silver and bronze Condor in every category. There can be additional, special, off- regulation awards founded by private and corporate bodies from Poland and abroad. They should be applied to and accepted by Organization Committee of the Festival up to the Festival’s opening day.

9. Additional information
   
   The Festival may be accompanied by special exhibitions, seminaries, off-competition reviews, artistic events, fairs etc.
   
   Organizers reserve the right to use the works submitted to competition for promotion purposes, i.e. to present them on TV or the radio.
